The first time I got a dialog asking where X11 was located, but after I pointed it at XQuartz everything worked without a problem. Then try re-downloading the App from the App Store. I also tried launching Wireshark from the terminal. you can also delete the App in Launchpad by clicking and holding on the App until a close 'X' appears on the App. I have try with XQuartz 2.7.6 and Wireshark 1.8.15 and XQuartz 2.7.7rc1 with Wireshark 1.12.0rc3 no effect.
